Mississippi Reading Association is having its 40th Annual Conference on December 1-3, 2010 at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi. The conference title is “Celebrate Literacy: 40 years of Mississippi Reading Association!” . All teachers and administrators are invited to submit a proposal and/or to attend.
This year’s featured speakers include Jon Scieszka, Brett Dillingham, Linda Gambrel, Robert Little, Hester Bass, Rick Shelton, Maryann Manning, Rick Anderson and Lester Laminack.
Dr. Richard Long from International Reading Association will present a three hour pre-conference seminar titled: Administrators and School Leaders: Federal Laws, Grants, Core Standards and Title I: How can you prepare your school district for the future?
