MPE Awards Graduate Scholarships

MPE is proud to congratulate the following 20 members who will receive a $1,000 scholarship to assist in their graduate studies:

 

  1. Belinda Beech, principal of Moselle Elementary. She attends the University of Southern Mississippi and resides in Hattiesburg.
  2. Rose Cherie Bowe, a choral director and general music teacher at Colmer Middle School. She attends the University of Southern Mississippi and resides in Gautier.
  3. Sandra Childs-Jones, an assistant principal and English teacher at Ashland High School.  She attends Belhaven University and resides in Corinth.
  4. Jessica Dalton, a special education teacher at Northside Elementary.  She attends William Carey University and resides in Pearl.
  5. Jennifer Finley, a language arts teacher at Stone County Elementary. She attends the University of Southern Mississippi and resides in Lucedale.
  6. Alice Hailey, a district academic coach at Kemper County School District. She attends Delta State University and resides in Scooba.
  7. Lamenda Hase, a social studies teacher at Ocean Springs High School.  She attends the University of Southern Mississippi and resides in Ocean Springs.
  8. Julie Ingram, a technology teacher at Florence Middle School.  She attends Belhaven University and resides in Terry.
  9. Katie Jones, a mathematics teacher at George County High School.  She attends William Carey University and resides in Lucedale.
  10. Amy Massey, a gifted teacher at Oak Grove Upper Elementary.  She attends Mississippi State University and resides in Seminary.
  11. Brett Mayfield, an English and social studies teacher at Madison Central High School.  He attends William Carey University and resides in Madison.
  12. Marcia Jo McCalmon, a gifted teacher at Hickory Flat Attendance Center. She attends Jackson State University and resides in Blue Mountain.
  13. Jennifer McCaskill, a math and computer science teacher at Northwest Rankin High School.  She attends the University of Mississippi and resides in Madison.
  14. Andy Schoggin, an assistant superintendent and chief operations officer at Petal School District.  He attends William Carey University and resides in Petal.
  15. Sara Stygles, a third-grade teacher at Oak Grove Lower Elementary.  She attends William Carey University and resides in Ellisville.
  16. Anita Wansley, an interventionist at West Lauderdale Elementary. She attends Mississippi State University and resides in Meridian.
  17. LaVonda White, a math curriculum specialist at Rankin County School District. She attends the University of Mississippi and resides in Brandon.
  18. Candies Winfun-Cook, a math teacher at Oxford Intermediate School.  She attends the University of Mississippi and resides in Oxford.
  19. Kristen Zemek, an English teacher at Belmont High School. She attends the University of Mississippi and resides in Belmont.
  20. Anna Zinke, a special education teacher at Mamie Martin Elementary.  She attends the University of Southern Mississippi and resides in Tylertown.
