USDA Seeks Applications to Increase Rural Access to Education, Training and Health Care

The USDA’s Rural Development Program is making up to $25 million in grants available under the Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant program.  The Rural Development Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant can be used to fund audio/visual telecommunications equipment to establish (or expand) distance learning and/or telemedicine programs. Rural Development is hosting a webinar next Wednesday, April 29, at 10:00 a.m. to provide details on the program, as well as guidance on the application process. The current application window is open through July 13, 2020. Awards can range from $50,000 to $1 million, and a 15% match is required. State and local governments, tribes, non-profits, and for-profits are eligible.  Click here for additional information regarding this grant opportunity.
