Teaching with Primary Sources Using Library of Congress Online Resources

Teaching with Primary Sources Mississippi will present six different topics including an overview of the resources available at the Library of Congress online and five different pedagogical strategies for teaching primary sources. The strategies include visual discovery, corroboration, circle of viewpoints/multiple perspectives, writing for understanding, and the explanation game. These sessions are useful for social studies, English Language Arts, elementary, and gifted educators.
