Our discussion will pivot around the integration of advanced language models to augment existing curricular frameworks, foster student engagement in the learning process, and bolster the efficacy of educators and administrative personnel in their respective capacities. By the conclusion of this session, participants will become “power users” with this emerging technology.

The benefits portion of the training will provide general information about benefits, available benefit options, information on the retirement process, as well as information on Mississippi Deferred Compensation (MDC).
So – What Does A School Board Do, Anyway?		4/6/2024	4/6/2024	10:30 AM	11:30 AM	4/6/2024 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Presenter: Dr. Denotris Jackson, Executive Director of Mississippi School Board Association 50School board members are important decision-makers in a school district. They are the backbone of educational governance at the local level, and are responsible for establishing the vision and goals for the schools in their district, for setting the standards for the performance of the superintendent and the school district, and for developing district policies. A school board member can be appointed or elected and is intended to serve as a representative and a voice of the community stakeholders. But what do they really do? This session will provide information to demystify the role of school board members and how their work impacts students, educators, and parents.
