MDE Presents FY 2019 Budget Request

The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) presented its FY 2019 budget request to the Joint Legislative Budget Committee (JLBC) earlier today. The MDE requested $275 million in additional funding over its current FY 2018 appropriation, with $245 million (10%) of this increase required for full funding of the MAEP formula.
