Instructional Strategies for EL Students

This session will orient teachers on understanding the guidelines and the process for identification, screening, and placement of EL students. The training will address accountability models and the English Language Proficiency Test (ELPA21) test structure. The progress of EL students to meet proficiency will be targeted. The training will identify available school supports and explore information on trauma informed practice.
