Amanda Duplessy was surprised with a Milken Educator Award during a schoolwide assembly January 29, 2025, at Oak Grove Elementary in the Lamar County School District.Amanda teaches fifth grade ELA, science and social studies. The Milken Award honors exceptional educators for excellence and innovation in the classroom and includes an unrestricted $25,000 cash prize. Amanda has been a member of MPE since 2019.
