Tuesday night, February 4, was the first committee deadline of the 2025 Legislative Session. Any general bill not passed out of its respective committee(s) by this deadline died on the calendar. Any general bill must see original floor action in its chamber of origin (i.e., House or Senate) by Thursday night’s deadline or the bill will die on the calendar.
