Recognized MPE member Michelle Rafach of Pearl River Central High School in the Pearl River County School District as the 2024 Mississippi History Teacher of the Year
Approved an amendment to Mississippi’s ESSA Consolidated State Plan which includes elimination of the U.S. History test and adding those 50 points to the readiness component. Click here

Reviewed 2025 graduation rates.The 2025 Graduation Rate of 89.2% was down slightly from 2024’s rate of 89.4%. Our dropout rate remained constant at 8.5%. Click here to access the 2024 Graduation Rate Report.
