The Public Employees’ Retirement System of Mississippi (PERS) mailed ballots March 12 to eligible voters in the election of a representative to fill the six-year PERS Board of Trustees retiree representative term that runs from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2031. This is one of two retiree representative positions on the PERS Board. While all PERS retirees should receive a paper ballot in the mail, some retirees may have also received a ballot by email March 12 if PERS had a valid email address on file. Only one voting PIN is issued for each voter, so only one ballot may be cast by each voter. Click here for the election schedule, a sample ballot and candidate bios. Cast ballots must be received by 5:00 p.m., April 16, 2025. Eligible retirees may vote via mail, phone or web. Follow the instructions on your ballot to vote.
